Biodegradable oil

Why choose biodegradable oil?

Biodegradable oil is based on synthetic esters, among others. It boosts high viscosity index, high stability and excellent lubrication qualities. It is well suited for use at moderate to low temperatures.

Quicker degradation

Biological oil is degraded more easily than mineral oil. Depending on the measuring method, the biological oil will be degraded after approximately 1 month, against typically 4 to 5 times slower for mineral oil.

Durable oil with good lubricating ability

As a starting point, biodegradable hydraulic oil has the same or a little better durability in the hydraulic system than mineral oil, provided that the system is kept free from water. Moreover, biodegradable oil has better lubrication characteristics than mineral oil. However, we do not recommend extending the intervals for oil change, as other conditions may influence the durability of the oil.
