Cylinder limitation - CYL
A safety system that monitors that both stabilizer legs are completely down before it is possible to operate the crane.

The Cylinder limitation system (CYL) is a confirmation system registering whether both stabilizer legs are completely down. The system is fitted on vehicles that are 100% stable regardless of the stabilizer beam, for example in combination with a vehicle stability system like the EVS or the 2-stage LMB system (2LMB).
How does it work?
If the operator forgets to put both stabilizer legs down, the crane mode will not activate, and it will not be possible to operate the crane. The RCL display informs which leg is not down. The system is prepared for mounting on separate traverses as well.
