First, the Alpha tipping valve can be mounted directly on the cylinder. In this configuration, it can react to any critical situation in the cylinder very quickly and efficiently to reduce the pressure. Once mounted on the cylinder directly, it also acts as a hose burst valve. In the event of feeding hose failure, it stops the oil from the cylinder in a controlled manner.
