At Hyva, we develop people to be the best they can be. By providing both in-house and external training courses, we invest in their personal development. We ensure they have the skills and information necessary to perform their job.
Hyva has a global workforce of more than 2,500 employees and the safety of our employees is our top priority. We continously work to maintain and improve safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all our employees, and to provide the information, training and supervision required for this purpose. We will do everything possible to prevent any unsafe situation. Safety is a shared responsibility by all persons working on our sites.
All people working at Hyva can raise any concerns on Safety, Health and Environment in the knowledge that they will be taken seriously and that matters will be investigated appropriately.
At Hyva, we take active responsibility to minimise the environmental impact of our operation. To achieve this, we implement lean and sophisticated production methods which not only offer substantial benefits in terms of sustainability, but which have cost and quality advantages, too.
To help integrate sustainability across our company, we have put in place values, standards, and policies which our people aspire to and follow.
And our efforts to care for the environment extend beyond the manufacturing process itself. We have, for example, introduced a waste registration system at some sites that have significant cost and environmental benefits. We also actively promote the use of returnable and reusable packaging by our main OEM customers.
Hyva is committed to forming constructive, long-term relationships with the communities in which we operate. To achieve this at all levels, our business operates in a manner that meets or exceeds the ethical, legal and commercial expectations of our communities.
Our Code of Conduct sets a high standard for behaviour conduct in areas that include workplace health, safety and environment, harassment, discrimination, conflicts of interest and gifts and entertainment. Every employee is familiarized with the Code of Conduct during onboarding and encouraged to repot all suspected violations.
