
Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands, 05 September 2011. Hyva, a leading global provider of transport solutions for the commercial vehicle and environmental service industries, has appointed Mr Brice de La Morandiere as CEO.
Mr Brice de La Morandiere, 46, a French national with extensive international business experience succeeds Mr Louwrens Dijkstra.
Mr Brice de La Morandiere was previously CEO of Sperian Protection Group (now Honeywell) which designs, manufactures and sells solutions to protect people from injuries in the workplace (respiratory, hearing, eye, gloves, shoes, clothing and fall protection). Sperian operates in over 30 different countries and employs approx 6,000 people, based in 27 facilities worldwide. He joined the group in 1997 as Chief Financial Officer, based until 2003 in the US (Philadelphia) and since 2005 has held operational responsibilities at Sperian as Executive Vice President in charge of the body protection division (gloves, shoes, clothes). He was appointed CEO in 2008.

Brice de La Morandiere, began his career in 1988 as Financial Analyst for Carnaud Metal Box, the European leader in the packaging industry, and held a series of senior finance positions in the UK, Germany, Turkey and France. In 1996 he was appointed VP Finance of the Special Food Packaging division.
He is a graduate of the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (1988). He also holds a law degree (Paris II Assas, 1986) and a postgraduate degree in strategic management (Paris Dauphine 1989).
