Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands, 08 June 2012. Hyva, a leading global provider of transport solutions for the commercial vehicle and environmental service industries, has won a Best Managed Companies Award, for companies with headquarters in The Netherlands, for the third successive year.
Best Managed Companies is an initiative of Deloitte, a global consulting and financial advisory group. The programme which was introduced in The Netherlands in 2007 was rolled out globally in 2011.
“We are very proud to have won this prestigious award for the third time,” commented Brice de La Morandiere, CEO of Hyva Group. “The award recognises the consistency and durability of our performance based on a sustainable business strategy. Again, our management team and all of our employees are commended for their efforts.”

Evaluation of nominee companies for the award is guided by the Business Maturity Model (BMM) which is based on the premise that organisational balance results in greater efficiency and better performance. The BMM is the result of a unique collaboration between Utrecht University and Deloitte. The model assesses the internal organisation of companies in terms of strategy formation, organisation & process, governance, information technology and people & culture. It also considers external factors such as competitive and environmental pressures and the organisation’s ability to respond to them.
Ellen Paulusma, Group Marketing Director of Hyva Group added, “Success for the third consecutive year in this award is a significant achievement. It demonstrates that our management practices and performance are not just good, but consistently good year-on-year, in all areas of our business.”
