Milestones


1979
 Hyva founded in Alphen aan den Rijn the Netherlands. 

1980 Hyva France and Hyva Belgium become the first two subsidiaries, expanding Hyva’s European network.

1982 Hyva GMBH and Hyva UK are founded to continue expansion into the European market. Hyva produces its 
        first hydraulic cylinder.

1989 Hyva Iberica becomes the fifth European subsidiary.

1991 Hyva acquires Kennis, which specialises in rolloader cranes, fitting smoothly into Hyva’s existing range of 
        products and soon becoming the benchmark for Rolloader cranes.

1992 Hyva Malaysia becomes the first subsidiary outside Europe representing Hyva’s first foray into the Far 
        East. Hyva acquires Hydraulic Floor systems B.V (moving floor)

1995 Hyva Brasil becomes the first factory outside Europe. Situated in one of the world’s fastest growing 
        economies, it is evident that it will soon be a success.

1996 Hyva India becomes the second factory outside Europe. Hyva Thailand and Poland are founded.

1998 Hyva acquires Technamics B.V. which specialises in the development, production and marketing of hook 
        lifts and skip loaders (generally known as container handling systems) under the brand name Hyvalift.

2001 Hyva acquires the hydraulic division of Georg Group in Germany, a leading supplier of high pressure 
        cylinders with a factory in Olbersdorf, located close to the borders with Poland and Czech Republic.

2002 Hyva Polska creates Hyva Russia as a Polish subsidiary.

2003 Expansion into new markets continues with the establishment of Hyva operations in Morocco 
        (Casablanca) and the Czech Republic.

2004 Hyva opens its manufacturing plant in Yangzhou, China primarily serving growing demand in the domestic 
        market.
Hyva Baltic starts operations, serving markets in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

2005 Hyva starts operations in the USA (Hyva Corporation) and successfully enters this market with its 
        hydraulic telescopic cylinders.

2006 Hyva acquires its sole distributor Hyvalift in Ireland. 
        Hyva opens its latest state of the art facility in Mumbai, India for production, research and development 
        of its extensive range of products.
        Hyva Group acquires 100% of the share capital of the AmcoVeba/Ferrari Group in Poviglio, Italy, 
        specialising in the production of fixed mounted truck cranes.

2007 The Altatec Group of Companies in Australia is acquired and continues business under the name of Hyva 
        Altatec.

2008 Official foundation of Hyva Mexico in Monterrey and Hyva Romania in Bucharest.
